The Societies for Pediatric Urology (SPU) is a non-profit society whose main purpose is to promote pediatric urology, appropriate practice, education, and exchanges between practitioners. Every year, they host a Fall Congress that brings together practitioners and industry leaders to discuss the latest news and innovations in pediatric urology. This year, SPU’s Fall Congress will take place on September 14-16 in Atlanta.

Dr. Emily Blum (Medical Affairs Liaison at GCMI), who is also a practicing pediatric urologist, is excited to attend SPU’s Fall Congress this year to explore some of the best practices and hot topics in pediatric urology. We are looking forward to having the opportunity to discuss our experience in design and development, and delivering high-value preclinical testing and training for urological devices at this event.

GCMI partners with physician innovators, researchers, and medical device companies to bring new medical technology to life through design & development, preclinical testing and commercialization. GCMI has the facilities, resources, team and expertise that’s needed to deliver capital efficient medtech innovation. We aim to accelerate the path from concept to commercialization of innovative medical products that improve quality-based outcomes and delivery of healthcare for patients.

We look forward to connecting with attendees at this event to further understand how we can better accommodate and collaborate with medtech innovators on the development and commercialization of new urological devices.
