GCMI team members continue to distinguish themselves through industry association or other external recognition. Very recently this was the case for our CEO Sherry Farrugia who was named to the inaugural Atlanta Business Chronicle “Power 10: Health Care list.”
From the publication:
“There is no shortage of exceptional health care professionals in metro Atlanta. Between the only Level 1 trauma center in the city to globally recognized research facilities and medical schools to nonprofits and expanding suburban health systems, the region runs the gamut of what is necessary for a community to thrive.
“Some of these health care industry leaders are part of Atlanta Business Chronicle’s first Power 10: Health Care list. The Chronicle’s Power 10, chosen by members of the editorial staff, are compelling people executives need to know. They keep metro Atlanta in the news, in the conversation and on the national and global stage.”
Sherry shares this distinction with leader colleagues including Dr. Dennis Liotta (Emory University), Dr. Mandy Cohen (CDC), Dr. Errol Crook (Morehouse School of Medicine) and others.
The team extends our sincere congratulations to Sherry and invites you to examine the cohort, their contributions, experience and brief Q&A in this article. Note: the article / link is gated for subscribers. You should also be able to find the piece in the upcoming print edition.
