GCMI CEO Tiffany Wilson recently joined our industry partner, Conexx, for a “Stories that Conexx Us” installment focusing on her recent trip to Israel.
“What’s exciting to me and where Conexx has really been helpful has been in identifying something very specific, helping me connect with the right people [in Israel] and facilitating really meaningful conversations to bring more people together, raise capital and accelerate time to market,” said Tiffany.
GCMI hopes to enhance access to North American markets and facilitate the rigorous FDA approval process for medtech and bio-innovation companies worldwide. Pairing Israeli engineering, R&D and entrepreneurial prowess with GCMI’s medtech commercialization expertise should help open the U.S. market to new companies and products capable of improving patient outcomes and reducing the overall cost of care.
“What [GCMI] has been building over the last six years has been new,” she said. “The past [12 to] 18 months have been a big year for [us] where we’ve been talking with groups outside of the United States. We’ve been growing and scaling [our medtech commercialization platform], putting the G in global.”
